First Blog Entry

So the title is not completely accurate. I actually started to write a blog at the beginning of this year, largely because of a bet my partner Chip Hazard made me. The bet was that I wouldn’t make six entries in six months. He won. I made two entries, one was disqualified. And then nothing else.

Why try again? As Johnny Rambo said, “This time it’s personal.” Or maybe Mongo said it best in Blazing Saddles, “Don’t know. Mongo only pawn in game of life.”

My goal is to add one entry each week on a regular basis and then ad hoc as I feel. I don’t know if anyone will be reading this other than my wife, kids and mom, but I enjoy writing and who knows, maybe I’ll be able to encourage some interesting dialog (among my family).
